Whole30: Day 4

Hello kiddies!

So Whole30 has this nifty little day by day general synopsis of how I should be feeling every day …It’s pretty funny cause today I should be wanting to, “kill all the things”. I know it’s not the same for everyone, but I actually felt the opposite…today was a great day for me. My body is still adjusting, but I feel like I have a lot of energy. I did, however, wake up having a headache with the wrath of 1,000 hammers against my head. I think I just need to keep drinking water.

Not much to report today…During lunch a coworker was eating macaroni and cheese and I couldn’t help but be fixated on it for a little bit…I think I made him nervous cause I was definitely eye fucking the pasta from across the table. I laughed when I thought about the Mean Girls watering hole scene with the wild animals–had I snapped I would have totally grabbed the bowl of carby cheesy goodness and made a run for it. (I could definitely outrun them)

I’m not quite there cravings wise yet though…however on the car ride home I realized I was craving an Ommegang game of thrones beer. Not ice cream, not cheese, not bread. I wonder if I’ll be having dreams then about being a brewery bandit and stealing 6 packs of craft beer. Oh man, one can only hope.

I had like 1/4 of a fresh melon so I’m on a little bit of a sugar high as I write this. I’m jamming to can’t hold us by macklemore, I don’t even know how I have the capacity to listen to this after how much it’s been on the radio–I think its a stubborn determination to learn all the words. Ok, ending this post because I’ve rambled through the entire thing. Sorry for those of you who suffered through it.
